This mode is seriously complicated by the fact that
the rear axle is solid ( i . e . , no differential ) .
c . Even in a fairly modest uphill climb , if power is
suddenly applied to cause even modest accelerations , the vehicle will turn over backwards , about the rear wheel axle .
d . The ATC - 110 does not have a front wheel brake . On
some models it is possible to brake the front wheel
without simultaneously braking the rear wheels . If
this happens , the vehicle can turn over forward and
to either right or left .
e . Combinations of the above .
f . In most ATV ' s there is no separate suspension . Instead ,
the tires are relied on to provide shock isolation . The
possible accidents are more complex , and are strongly
terrain dependent .
