Throttle Travel Limit .

All of Kawasaki ' s 1986 model ATVs , except for one that

is a strongly sport - oriented model , will be equipped with an

adjustable screw device which will serve as a means to limit

throttle travel .

This mechanism will provide a mechanical method

of limiting the upper bound of speed available to the operator of the vehicle prior to its use in particular instances . It may also serve as a control device against high speed operation in circumstances where the vehicle is to be used by an inexperience
