Dear forum - help needed

Just finalized my cd50 project

Status is

Limiter removed eg. 5.2 hk instead of 1 hk ( Which is normal in Denmark)
Runs 55 km/hour in 3 gear - but dies out when shift to 4 gear
Runs Well With 16 mm carburetter
Main jet 75 , Tried both 70, 80, 85 no change
Ignition is ok 7 mm spark is possible

Gas response seems steep - not flat . In A limited area the engine picks up rpm, but dies out when shifted to 4 gear .

Any advice Will be Well received

Dear Neils,

To help you with this problem it is good to have some more information about a few things.
First what do you mean with "5.2 hk instead of 1hk" .
What color does the spark plug has when driving a long trip? Black, coffee brown or white?
What is the setup for chain and sprockets? Normally the setting should be 13 teeth front sprocket and 42 teeth rear sprocket. If the front is bigger or the rear smaller it is too heavy for the engine to get to speed.
If you use the BD50 type carburator then 75 het should work fine.

The enigine is checked for compression and valves are not leeking?
