ss50 air filter housing

Honda ss50 rebuild but how do i get the air filter holder  :yuush:in and out.
Having a big struggle getting it back in???

Hi John and welcome!

Are you referring to the frontside (that hooks into the carburettor) or the backside?
In many cases, laying the rubber filterhousing in warm water makes it more flexible.

Yes its the back side, goes inside the frame.
Its like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
I'll try the hot water.

That expression is indeed the best way to describe the fitting hehe
I hope you can fit it in, don't loose your cool, it has been in there so it should fit back! ;)
